The Wright Brothers Band has been an entertainment stalwart in Central Indiana for at least two decades. The group broke into the national limelight in the 1980s with the country-western chart-scoring single "Family Man" and has been a local, Indianapolis-area favorite ever since. The Wright Brothers Band has appeared on more than one occasion as featured musical entertainment for the annual "America, We Remember" Fourth of July celebration in Garfield Park. On Aug. 19, 2006, the band gave a free concert, as part of the "Music in the Park" series sponsored by Friends of Garfield Park and Indy Parks, at the MacAllister Center for the Performing Arts. These images were taken at that concert.
